We’re more than just dog walkers; we’re a mother and daughter duo who have spent our entire lives loving, caring for, and showing up for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities.
Based in Atlanta, Georgia, we bring decades of hands-on experience in dog walking, pet sitting, daytime care, and overnight sitting. Between the two of us, we’ve proudly owned six dogs across our lifetime, each one teaching us something new about patience, trust, energy, aging, and unconditional love. That personal experience shapes everything we do today.
We started Leash The Day with one goal in mind: to provide Atlanta pet parents with reliable, loving, and professional pet care they can truly trust.
From energetic puppies who need structure and play, to adult dogs who thrive on routine, to senior pets who need slow, gentle care — we’ve done it all, lived it all, and cared for it all firsthand.

With a lifetime of dog ownership and decades of hands-on experience, Karen is the steady heart behind Leash The Day. As a proud dog mom to multiple pups over the years, she brings patience, reliability, and a deep understanding of canine behavior to every walk and visit.
