We’re more than just dog walkers; we’re a mother and daughter duo who have spent our entire lives loving, caring for, and showing up for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities.
Now based in Seagrove Beach, Florida, Leash The Day brings decades of hands-on experience to pet families throughout Santa Rosa Beach and the 30A community.
Between the two of us, we've owned and loved six dogs, each one teaching us something new about patience, trust, energy, aging, and unconditional love. That personal experience shapes the way we care for every pet today.
We started Leash The Day with one goal in mind: to provide pet parents with reliable, loving, and personalized care they can truly trust.
From energetic puppies who need structure and play, to adult dogs who thrive on routine, to senior pets who need slower and gentler care — we've done it all, lived it all, and cared for it all firsthand.
Every walk, daytime visit, and overnight stay is treated with the same love and attention we give our own dogs. We believe:

With a lifetime of dog ownership and decades of hands-on experience, Karen is the heart behind Leash The Day.
As a longtime dog mom to multiple pups over the years, she brings patience, reliability, and a deep understanding of each dog's individual personality and routine to every walk and visit.
Now based in Seagrove Beach, Karen is excited to bring the personalized pet care Leash The Day was built on to the Santa Rosa Beach and 30A community.
She specializes in:

Known for her calm presence and nurturing energy, Karen treats every pet like one of her own — because to her, they truly are.

Born into a dog-loving home, Quinn has never known a life without muddy paws and wagging tails.
Having helped raise and care for six family dogs alongside years of professional pet care experience, she brings energy, attentiveness, and a genuine passion for building bonds with every animal she meets.
